BLEU

solo exhibition, June 26 - July 16
Fugue Gallery, 141 Canal St, New York City

Bleu is a meditation on color, texture, and form—a quiet mapping of the emotional traces we leave on one another. It reflects on the weight and softness of connection, the lingering imprint of presence.

Damiani’s work is rooted in the belief that every human interaction leaves a metaphorical mark—positive or negative—on those involved. As humans, we are shaped by our environments, by our relationships, and by the ephemeral encounters that define who we are, who we were, and who we will become. Bleu translates this concept into a visual and tactile language, using a selection of malleable materials to symbolize the fragility and complexity of the human psyche. The artist impresses these surfaces with marks and gestures that serve both as exploration and deeply personal response.
